Hybrid Jambura Sapling / Jambura Chara

Description

Jambura or Pomelo (Citrus grandis, family: Rutaceae) a small tree with branches, attaining a height of 10-12 m. The bark of the leafy and much branching tree is grey. Leaves are deep green, elliptical-ovate, 8-15 cm long and 6-10 cm wide, slightly dented.

FEATURES :

The pomelo / jambura tree may be 5–15 m (16–50 ft) tall, possibly with a crooked trunk 10–30 cm (4–12 in) thick, and low-hanging, irregular branches. Leaf petioles are distinctly winged with alternate ovate or elliptic  shapes  5–20 cm (2–8 in) long, with a leathery, dull green upper layer, and hairy under leaf. The flowers single or in clusters are fragrant and yellow-white in color. Pulp of fruit is very sweet, pulp is white colored very juicy, lessintasr bitter, weight of fruit is 2-5 kg and edible portion is 42.47%, regular bearing, Fruit available in round the year.
